How Small Moves Are Priced
Small moves are quoted by the job. The main factors are:
- What the item is, and how heavy or awkward it is
- Stairs, tight turns, and how far we carry it at each end
- The distance between pickup and drop-off
- How many items, and whether there are extra stops

Small Moves FAQ
Will you move just one item?
Yes. A single heavy item, like a couch, appliance, safe, or piano, is a common job for us. We'll quote it based on what it is and where it's going.
Can you pick something up from a store for me?
Yes. We pick up furniture and appliances from stores and private sellers and bring them into your home. See furniture delivery, and add furniture assembly if it needs to be put together.
Do you move gun safes?
Yes. We move heavy safes, including over rough terrain and into homes. Tell us the size and weight if you know it, and what's at each end (stairs, steps, gravel, or grass). Firearms and ammunition can't ride along on a move, so please empty the safe first. More on our heavy item moving page.
Can you move items within my own house?
